Each channel uses a single pair of MOSFET transistors. Rail voltage has been increased for greater headroom and improved transient capability. A new input board, derived from the Reference AMP, improves left\/right channel separation. The input stage is hand-wired to the power amplifier, the internal cabling is new, the PCB layout has been optimized and the circuitry rerouted. Controls and front panel are optically isolated for lower noise.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eConstruction and connections\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA CNC-machined heatsink minimizes unwanted vibration and provides thermal inertia for stable operation. The front panel carries a Modulometer and a rotary selector. The rear panel has RCA and XLR inputs with a type switch, a 1 V \/ 2 V sensitivity switch per channel, remote in and out, and one pair of speaker terminals per channel.
