RIAA equalisation is passive, implemented with precision components, and a DC servo removes the need for large value output capacitors.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe integral power supply is a low noise linear design with a custom transformer and quality branded reservoir capacitors — no switching wall-wart. The supply rails are shunt regulated.
