Join us for BYOV: Bring Your Own Vinyl!
Now that fall is almost upon us, we can get back to our regularly scheduled programming of music events here at Alma!
Even though we have plenty of new gear to highlight and showcase, and we love doing this kind of events too, we figured it's time to do a purely music listening and appreciation event.
So, the idea is B.Y.O.V., which stands for Bring Your Own Vinyl! So, that one record that defines your music taste, that one track that you know by heart and love... Come and share them with other fellow music lovers!
We'll provide a free ultrasonic cleaning prior to playing your record, and we'll spin it in one of our two systems (you pick which one), with either the Nagra Reference turntable or a Bergmann Magne linear tracker!
Due to time limitations, we might need to limit things to one record per person, and up to two tracks as well. We want to give everybody the chance to clean and spin their vinyl!
As usual with our events, this one will be a relaxed affair. It'll run all day, so you can come in when it's most convenient!
Refreshments and snacks will be served!
