IsoTek was founded by Keith Martin in England to solve one problem — the one every serious listener eventually blames the room, the amp, or the cartridge for, when the culprit is actually the wall. The grid is dirty. Every appliance, dimmer, LED driver, phone charger, refrigerator compressor, and neighbour's washing machine dumps noise back onto the mains, and by the time it reaches a stereo's power supply it has stopped being a clean fifty-hertz sine and started being a broadband haze that smears every downstream signal. IsoTek treats the wall as the first component in the signal chain, and they engineer accordingly.

Two families sit at the centre of what Alma imports. The EVO3 range covers power cables end-to-end, from the Initium at the entry rung through Premier, Sequel, Elite, and Optimum to the Ascension at the top — silver-plated oxygen-free copper on the cost-effective rungs, silver-plated Ohno Continuous Cast copper as the ladder climbs, deep-cryogenic treatment and a virtual-air dielectric on the flagship. The V5 conditioner family is the successor to a decade of Aquarius / Sigmas / Titan development, tightened around IsoTek's characteristic star-earthed multi-outlet topology so each component sees its own dedicated cleaning circuit rather than fighting siblings for a shared filter. The result is quieter power to every box on the rack — source equipment on medium-current outlets, amplification on high-current outlets, and no cross-contamination between them.

The engineering thesis is unusual for the category in that it is refreshingly boring. There is no marketing claim about "restoring" what a manufacturer supposedly built into the box. The premise is that a well-designed component performs closer to its potential when the mains it draws from is closer to a clean fifty-hertz sine, and that the way to get closer to that clean sine is a mix of common-mode filtering, differential-mode filtering, star-earthed grounding topology, DC blocking on transformers that hum under DC load, and surge protection that does not choke dynamics. Every V5 unit and every EVO3 cable is a variation on those five levers, tuned for the current draw of the component it feeds.

System Link is the architectural piece that distinguishes IsoTek from the accessory-shelf competition. IsoTek's power bars and conditioners each expose a System Link outlet — a short cable in the matching cable tier connects one unit's clean output to the next unit's input, letting an owner grow the system component-by-component while keeping the star-earth reference intact across the whole stack. A pair of source components on a V5 Elektra, then an amplifier stage upgraded to a V5 Titan, then a Syncro DC blocker on a phono stage that hums — each addition slots into the star network without a rewire. It is a rare example of a boutique-audio range designed as a system rather than a set of siblings.
