The DP-570S occupies the mid-tier of Accuphase's integrated disc-source line — between the CD-only DP-450 and the flagship DP-770 — and is the company's most accessible SACD-capable single-chassis player. Launched in 2024 as the S-revision of the DP-570, it adds the MDS+ topology with ANCC noise-cancellation that defines the current generation of Accuphase digital sources.

SA-CD and CD from one chassis. A single high-rigidity aluminum-machined transport reads both SA-CD layers (in native DSD) and standard Red Book CDs, along with data discs carrying high-resolution PCM or DSD content. The drive is the same engineering school as the DP-1000 transport — low-vibration, low-noise, with a heavy machined chassis specifically designed to reject the mechanical and electromagnetic interference that compromises lower-tier disc players. The drive mechanism and the signal-processing circuits run on separate, individually regulated power supplies.

MDS+ topology with ANCC. The D/A conversion uses Accuphase's MDS+ topology: four parallel converter circuits sum their outputs, dividing per-channel noise and randomizing per-channel error in a way that gives the output stage a substantially lower noise floor than any single converter could achieve. ANCC — the Active Noise Cancelling Circuit Accuphase introduced across the current line — sits at the analog output stage and actively cancels residual switching and supply noise. The result is a disc player whose noise floor stays below the dynamic range of the source material even at the most demanding 24-bit and DSD passages.

Dual-role: player and DAC. Like the higher-tier DP-770, the DP-570S can be used as a standalone DAC for external digital sources. The digital input bank accepts a streamer, a server, or a computer; the player's MDS+ converter and ANCC analog stage then handle both disc playback and external-source conversion from a single chassis. For a listener whose primary source is streaming but who also wants a serious SACD/CD section in the system, the DP-570S handles both roles without requiring a second box.

Balanced and line-level analog outputs. Direct Balanced Filter construction keeps the line-level (RCA) and balanced (XLR) output paths electrically separate — not a single converter output split into two — so the balanced output is a true differential signal, not a re-coded line-level signal. A front-panel phase polarity selector allows balanced output to be flipped to correct for absolute-phase inversions upstream in the recording chain.

Where the DP-570S sits in the line. Between the CD-only DP-450 and the flagship DP-770, the DP-570S serves the customer who wants SACD support and the current-generation MDS+/ANCC topology in a single integrated chassis — without stepping into the two-box DP-1000 transport plus DC-1000 DAC reference system. It is the natural source for an E-4000, E-5000, or E-700 integrated amplifier, or for a C-2300 / C-2900 line preamplifier paired with any Accuphase power amplifier.
