Fezz Audio OVO Headphone Amplifier

OVO is the single-ended counterpart to the Omega Lupi — a Class A tube headphone amplifier on EL84 tubes, with both balanced and unbalanced headphone connection. Where the Omega Lupi is push-pull and built for drive, OVO pursues the directness and tone purity of a single-ended design, applied to headphone listening. It is the top of the Fezz Audio headphone line, for the listener who wants the single-ended character in the most intimate form audio takes.

A single-ended Class A circuit is the simplest, most transparent way to use a tube — the shortest signal path, the quality the Fezz 300B integrateds chase, here scaled to headphones. OVO runs EL84 tubes in that single-ended configuration and offers both balanced and unbalanced headphone outputs, so it suits modern balanced headphone cables as well as conventional ones. Its transformers are toroidal designs wound in-house by Fezz, drawing on the family's three decades of transformer engineering through its sister company, Toroidy.

Single-Ended Class A. EL84 tubes in a single-ended Class A circuit — the most direct, transparent use of a tube, the single-ended character applied to headphone listening.

Balanced and Unbalanced Output. OVO provides both balanced and unbalanced headphone connection, ready for modern balanced headphone cables and conventional ones alike.

Auto-Bias. OVO sets and holds the bias on its output tubes automatically. You never adjust a meter — the tube experience without the tube maintenance.

In-House Toroidal Transformers. Fezz winds its own toroidal transformers, a capability it has from Toroidy, the family transformer house operating since 1991.

Built to Grow. OVO includes Fezz's option set, with the FEBS extension slot among it. The slot accepts a Fezz Extension Board — Bluetooth, moving-magnet phono, a digital input, or extra line inputs — so a source can be added later.

Finishes. The Fezz colored steel chassis is a signature of the brand, and OVO is offered across the full Fezz Audio color range — Black Ice, Sunlight, Big Calm, Burning Red, Moonlight, Evergreen, and Republika — so the amplifier can be chosen to suit the room it will live in. Black Ice and Sunlight are the standard stocked finishes; the others are built to order as a special order, so please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery.
