The M28 is a monoblock power amplifier rated at 200 watts into 8 ohms, 400 watts into 4 ohms and 800 watts into 2 ohms. Each unit has its own dual high-current linear power supplies and a fully balanced, differential signal path.

The 200-watt rating is conservative, and low-frequency control holds even at the loudspeaker's resonant peak. Gain can be trimmed in steps over an 18 dB range to match the source and the room, and an RS232 link reports status for monitoring system functions. With a balanced Bricasti converter, the signal stays differential from source to loudspeaker.

The chassis is milled aluminum, with each part set in a purpose-built location. Its mass and passive ventilation spread heat evenly, and the case stays cool to the touch under any load. Each completed amplifier is put through extensive analysis.
