The S7 is a passive three-way floorstanding loudspeaker in a bass-reflex cabinet, assembled in the United States. Each speaker stands 45 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds.

A 25 mm beryllium dome tweeter covers the high frequencies; its low moving mass gives fast transients and close integration with the midrange. The 74 mm dome midrange and the two 7.5-inch woofers use spread-tow carbon fiber diaphragms, chosen for their stiffness relative to mass. The woofers work in their own ported sub-enclosure, separate from the midrange and tweeter chamber, and bass extends to 32 Hz at -2 dB. The crossover was refined to hold phase and tonal balance between the drivers.

Each speaker sits on a vibration-control platform with machined aluminum outriggers. A set of Stillpoints Ultra 5 V2 isolation devices mates directly to the platform, forming one interface between the loudspeaker and the floor.
