Lindemann Musicbook COMBO Streaming Integrated Amplifier

The Musicbook COMBO is a whole system in one book-sized aluminium case: a network player, a digital-to-analogue converter, an analogue preamplifier, a power amplifier, a moving-magnet phono stage and a headphone amplifier, measuring 280 x 220 x 63 mm and weighing 3.0 kg. Add loudspeakers, a turntable and a network, and the system is finished.

The power stage delivers 2 x 130 watts into 4 ohms with a damping factor above 500 and distortion below 0.003 percent, so it holds real control over a loudspeaker. Conversion is handled by an AK4493 DAC with an AK4137 re-sampler that lifts incoming music to high-resolution one-bit signals, resolving up to 768 kHz / 32 bit and DSD 512, with a dynamic range beyond 125 dB and an ultra-low-jitter MEMS femto clock. The moving-magnet phono input is properly specified at 47 kOhm / 150 pF with 40 dB of gain, and the 6.35 mm headphone output suits headphones from 16 to 200 ohms.

It is Roon Ready, and streams from TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer, HighResAudio and Spotify Connect, from a UPnP/DLNA library, from USB storage or a CD-ROM drive, or over Bluetooth.
