EMT TSD MRB Cartridge

The TSD MRB is the traditional EMT stereo Tondose generator with the modern MR HP diamond and a boron cantilever — the broadcast body, brought to the resolution ceiling boron and multi-radius profiles allow at this transducer scale.

The body is the 2020-revision solid-magnesium Tondose, milled from block. The cantilever is boron, chosen for high stiffness at very low mass — the correct answer when the goal is tracking every detail in the groove without energy storage in the cantilever itself. The diamond is a high-polish multi-radius profile.

Output transfer level is 0.21 mV/cm. Coil impedance is 2 × 24 Ω per channel. Recommended load is 200 to 300 ohms. Tracking force is 2.5 grams. Weight is 17.5 grams. Compliance is 12 µm/mN. Frequency response is 20 to 30,000 Hz, with the ±2 dB broadcast window from 40 to 12,500 Hz.

Available in three mounts: EMT Standard for direct Tondose fitting, INT for Ortofon-A-compatible arms, X for SME-compatible arms.
