Trilogy 925 Integrated Amplifier

The 925 is Trilogy's hybrid integrated amplifier, in the range since 2014. The balanced input stage uses the 6H6П super tube to provide pure triode Class A, zero feedback voltage gain of exceptional linearity. The output stage uses Trilogy's zero feedback MOSFET and bipolar topology in a bridge configuration for 135 watts per channel into 8 ohms.

The amplifier is fully symmetrical inside and out. Unlike many amplifiers described as balanced, the signal positive and negative are never tied to ground in the 925. Inputs run to three XLR and three RCA plus a 3.5 mm stereo jack, managed by a fully customisable input management system that also communicates with other Trilogy components over TASlink. The control menu is reached through the rotary encoder with enter and escape buttons, with the hierarchy arranged to keep commonly used commands close to hand. The machined billet heatsinks dissipate heat and provide vibration damping.

Standard finish is a soft, finely bead blasted natural aluminium. Trilogy's lustrous paint finishes are available at extra cost, as is the Chameleon Colour System for custom finishes. Frequency response runs 10 Hz to 50 kHz within half a decibel, and the amplifier is phase correct.
