(Reflected Sound Control) measures your room with a supplied microphone and applies precision EQ and delay correction to each speaker channel, so the receiver adapts to your listening space rather than requiring you to adapt around it. Pure Direct mode bypasses the digital signal path and tone controls entirely for the cleanest possible analog signal chain when the source warrants it.
