The speaker is the component that does the most work in your room and the component most affected by it. We carry brands whose engineering rewards being set up properly — cabinet construction, driver materials, crossover design, and dispersion patterns all chosen with the assumption that the speaker will be auditioned, demonstrated, and lived with rather than spec-sheet-shopped online.

The lineup runs from Graham Audio's BBC-license LS-series studio-monitor descendants and Amphion's cardioid Finnish designs at the entry-mid tier, through Boenicke Audio's hand-built solid-wood Swiss cabinets and Stenheim's Swiss aluminum two-ways and three-ways at the mid-high tier, to YG Acoustics' aerospace-aluminum reference and Von Schweikert's VR.fifty and Endeavor SE at statement levels. Franco Serblin — speakers from the engineer who founded Sonus Faber — and Piega's in-house ribbon coax designs from Switzerland round out the boutique-European wedge that defines the category at Alma. Every speaker on this page is set up, broken in, and demonstrated in one of our two rooms — speaker auditioning in a real listening environment is most of what this business is for.
