YG Acoustics: Engineering-Driven Loudspeakers from Colorado and Cambridge

YG Acoustics has been one of the most engineering-driven names in high-end loudspeaker design since the company's founding in 2002. The Denver, Colorado headquarters houses a state-of-the-art CNC facility where the company machines its own driver chassis, tweeters, and cabinet panels from aircraft-grade aluminum billet — proprietary BilletCore drivers and ForgeCore tweeters that wouldn't be possible without the precision tolerances of in-house manufacturing. Since 2020, a second R&D facility in Cambridge, UK runs advanced computational modeling on a GPU computing cluster, simulating every part of a loudspeaker — drivers, cabinet, air volume, even veneer and lacquer — to refine designs before they leave the design table.

Alma Music and Audio carries YG Acoustics across the full hierarchy. The Peaks series (Cairn, Tor) brings the brand's voicing within reach of music lovers stepping up to true high-end. The Reference series (Carmel 3, Talus, Ascent, Vantage 3, Hailey 3, and the Sonja line — 3.2, 3.3, XV 3, XV Studio 3, plus the Summit) represents the most awarded loudspeakers YG has built. We also carry the Basis and Descent subwoofers, the unique Vantage 3 Live Music System, and YG's purpose-designed equipment racks (1.3, 1.4, 1.6) — vibration-isolating units originally developed for internal use that are now sold as standalone components.
