🎵 Blue Note Nights
Alma East — Sterling, VA
Few events in the audiophile world match the magic of hearing a first-pressing Blue Note record on a reference system. Our Blue Note Nights series does exactly that — spinning original 1950s and 60s pressings, some valued at over $12,000, on our finest equipment.
Our first evening focused on the legendary 1500 series (1956–1959), featuring Coltrane, Miles Davis, Art Blakey, and Lee Morgan — played as Rudy Van Gelder originally recorded them. The second installment dove into the 4000 series, another treasure trove of groundbreaking recordings.
Each event features expert commentary from Dr. Cooper Wriston, one of the foremost collectors and historians of the genre, alongside light refreshments and conversation with fellow jazz lovers.

🎤 Franco Serblin: A US Premiere

We kicked off 2026 with one of our most anticipated events ever: the US premiere of the Franco Serblin Accordo Unica, alongside the Accordo Essence. If you know Sonus Faber, you know Franco Serblin — the visionary who defined what a loudspeaker could be.
The event drew a full room of music lovers and industry guests, including Paul Elliott of Part-Time Audiophile, who captured the experience beautifully:

🎙 BYOV: Bring Your Own Vinyl
Alma East — Sterling, VA
BYOV is our most personal event format — and one of our favorites. The concept is simple: bring that one record that defines your musical taste, and share it with a room full of fellow music lovers.
We provide a free ultrasonic cleaning before your record is played, and you choose which of our two reference systems to hear it on — either the Nagra Reference turntable or the Bergmann Magne linear tracker. The result? Music you know by heart, heard in a way you've never experienced before.
These are relaxed, all-day affairs — come when it suits you, stay as long as you like. Refreshments and snacks are always on hand.
