EMT 928/912 Adapter

The EMT 928 II is prepared, out of the box, for a 9-inch EMT tonearm. The 928/912 Adapter extends that preparation to the 12-inch arm — the EMT 912 or 912-HI — mounted in the rear position of the plinth.

The adapter is milled from the same aluminum alloy as the 928 II chassis, matched in finish, and carries integrated output sockets so the longer arm can terminate cleanly at the back of the deck rather than routing cable around the plinth. The mount geometry is set for the 12-inch EMT arms and preserves the alignment reference the 928 II is built around.

Ordering the adapter with the turntable and the 12-inch arm is the cleanest path for a customer who wants the extra effective length — lower tracking-angle error, gentler transient at the outer groove — without compromising the turntable's mechanical discipline.
