Falcon Acoustics Dedicated LS3/5A Speaker Stands

Falcon Acoustics has made LS3/5a crossovers and parts since the 1980s, and it makes a stand for the speaker as well. Falcon lists it as the Tallis stand: a 60 cm filled loudspeaker stand based upon classic traditional designs from the 1970s.

Falcon designed it for the LS3/5a and for small monitors of similar size, including the Falcon Q7 and the Falcon F50. The stands are handed, so a pair is built as a left and a right rather than two identical columns. Falcon photographs the Gold Badge LS3/5a on these stands.

They are supplied with filler, so the twin columns can be mass-loaded before the speakers go on top. Falcon describes the result as a good solid mass-filled stand. Levelling adjustment is provided through custom heavy duty steel spikes at the base plate.
