Falcon Acoustics M40 Floorstanding Speakers

Falcon Acoustics designs and hand builds the M Series drive units in England. Every unit apart from the tweeter is designed by Malcolm Jones and hand built by Falcon. The M Series tweeter is a custom design made for Falcon by SEAS of Norway. The cabinets are 18/25 mm MDF, hand built by specialist cabinet makers in Italy.

The M40 is one of the two floor-standing models in the range. It is a three-way ported design with a Falcon B200 210 mm bass unit, a dedicated Falcon B110 midrange unit and the custom 25 mm soft dome M Series tweeter, crossing over at 700 Hz and 3 kHz. A heavy plinth is supplied with CNC engineered stainless steel spikes. The rear terminals are heavy-duty custom Falcon binding posts mounted on a 2 mm stainless steel plate.
