Fezz Audio Omega Lupi Headphone Amplifier

Omega Lupi is Fezz Audio's push-pull tube headphone amplifier, built on PCL86 tubes and the same toroidal-transformer engineering as the company's speaker amplifiers. Its distinction is drive: the output and the wide impedance range to power demanding planar-magnetic headphones — the difficult loads that defeat lesser amplifiers — not just easy ones. For the headphone listener who has invested in serious, hard-to-drive headphones, Omega Lupi is a full Fezz component scaled to the task.

Headphone listening is where a tube amplifier's character is most intimate — there is no room and no loudspeaker between the valve and the ear. Omega Lupi runs PCL86 tubes in push-pull, Class AB, the topology that delivers the drive a planar-magnetic headphone needs to reach its potential. Its transformers are toroidal designs wound in-house by Fezz, drawing on the family's three decades of transformer engineering through its sister company, Toroidy — the same engineering that defines the Fezz speaker amplifiers.

Push-Pull, Built for Drive. PCL86 tubes in push-pull, Class AB, with the output and wide impedance range to drive demanding planar-magnetic headphones — the hard loads, not only the easy ones.

Auto-Bias. Omega Lupi sets and holds the bias on its output tubes automatically. You never adjust a meter — the tube experience without the tube maintenance.

In-House Toroidal Transformers. Fezz winds its own toroidal transformers, a capability it has from Toroidy, the family transformer house operating since 1991 — the same engineering behind the Fezz speaker amplifiers, applied here to headphones.

Red Dot Award-Winning Design. Omega Lupi belongs to the Fezz Evolution series, whose chassis design — thick steel plate, concealed fasteners — earned a Red Dot Design Award in 2023.

Finishes. The Fezz colored steel chassis is a signature of the brand, and Omega Lupi is offered across the full Fezz Audio color range — Black Ice, Sunlight, Big Calm, Burning Red, Moonlight, Evergreen, and Republika — so the amplifier can be chosen to suit the room it will live in. Black Ice and Sunlight are the standard stocked finishes; the others are built to order as a special order, so please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery.
