YG Acoustics Vesper 3 Loudspeakers

Vesper 3 is a three-way passive floor-standing loudspeaker. It joins the YG Acoustics Reference range directly above the Carmel, and it is an entirely new loudspeaker.

Vesper 3 is the end result of a three-year development program, underpinned by extensive research and simulation. Every design decision was verified through measurement, modeling and listening.

Drivers and crossover

Vesper 3 uses YG’s hybrid Lattice tweeter together with midrange and bass drivers, each with advanced motor designs and YG’s proprietary aluminum cones. Linking them is a third-generation Ultracoherent crossover, built with proprietary YG components and benefitting from the understandings gained in the company’s Titan research program.

Construction

Each Vesper 3 is machined in-house by YG and hand-built at the company’s manufacturing facilities in Denver and Cambridge. It is engineered from aerospace-grade aluminum throughout. Research and development were conducted at YG’s laboratories in Cambridge, England. YG Acoustics was founded in 2002.
